ASC Para Club *update

Tim Fastnedge | July 8, 2010

Team,

Last weekend the weather really shone for the Saturday and we got three loads away and on Sunday, due to the weather, we unfortunately didn’t get off the ground.  As mentioned at times before, sometimes out of optimism I apply a bit of poetic license to the weather forecast but the rest of this week and the weekend needs none of that as at least the Saturday is looking to be clear blue blue skies:

SAT     Jul 10  Max 13°         Min 6°          Fine weather. Southeasterlies
SUN    Jul 11  Max 14°         Min 7°          Mainly fine, odd shower. Southeasterlies. Read the rest of this entry »

NZPF Annual General Meeting

Ivan Peters | August 12, 2009

The NZPF have announced the 2009 AGM. It will be held at the Matamata dropzone on Saturday, 26th of September. The NZPF has been weakened in recent years, largely due to the change to optional membership and sport skydiving is suffering as a result. ASI and ASC both believe the NZPF is important for sport skydiving in New Zealand and promote membership and the active participation of sport skydivers to help keep it alive. So try to make some time to go along and get involved.

An Evening with Dale Elliot

Ivan Peters | June 29, 2009

Dale Elliot is a Commercial Pilot, an aircraft engineer, a skydiver, motivational speaker, a comedian and a paraplegic.

The guys at NZ Aerosports and Deepseed met Dale at the APF conference in May, where he was a guest speaker, and were blown away by his story. So much so that they’ve brought him over to do his stuff here!

Dale Elliott

Come and listen to Dale’s amazing story at NZ Aerosports (46A Sussex Street Grey Lynn) this Wednesday, 1st of July from 6pm.

The beer fridge will be full, so come and hang out with Dale and catch up with some mates.

Check out http://www.daleelliott.com/Home.html to find out more about Dale.

Hope to see you all there.

If you can’t make it on Wednesday, Deepseed is hosting an evening in Taupo on Thursday 2nd July. Contact Liam [at] deepseed.com for details.
