The weekend had some mixed weather that played host to Static Line training on the Saturday with 8 people training and some beautiful skies turning out on the Sunday for a handful of loads to go up. Congratulations to Gavin, Mike, Bradley and Matt for their first jump on the Sunday, we look forward to seeing your around the dropzone. Also, well done to those who completed the Static Line training last weekend and looking forward to putting this into practice for their first jump this weekend !
We’re once again all set for para ops this Saturday and Sunday and the weather is looking somewhat promising with the best chance being first thing on Saturday, so hopefully see you at the dropzone revving to go from 0830 Saturday morning and 1000 Sunday for some of our last jumps for 2009 ! As for jumping either the 26/27 DEC and 2/3 JAN, we will be jumping on the 26th of December and are currently looking at who will be the DZSO for the other dates so an update will be sent next week; please email me if you plan to jump these weekends so we can guage who is keen….
In January we are planning to run two Static Line Courses (timings to be confirmed) and possibly host POPs, a group of experienced jumpers (in years and jumps), as well as run parachute packing training on the afternoon of Wednesday the 13th of January. So keep an eye out for what you would be interested in and/or email me early to register your interest.

We got two successful loads into Long Bay this afternoon. Those jumpers on tomorrow display Sun 6th Dec, should now meet for breifing at the club rooms at 2.00pm sharp. Take off at 3.00pm.General jumping is planned as usual from 10.00am.
