A handful of hop ‘n pops and altitude loads got away last weekend and last night saw the training of 4 new jumpers who will be looking to put it all into practice this weekend. Unfortunately we do not have a pilot for the Saturday so we will only be jumping on the Sunday – next weekend we will be back to both days. The weather is on our side for this weekend so all is looking positive for the Sunday:

Jump Start went very well for the youths from CanTeen and Project K and all those involved through over $16,000 being raised and over 200 jumps being made including 50 teens from CanTeen and Project K.  Fantastic and well done to Tim and Lars, the directors of Jump Start and all those who helped make the event occur.  In reading the comments on the website I am sure it will be a special memory that lasts a lifetime for the teens, their families and all those involved on the day; have a look at www.jumpstart.org.nz, have a read of the comments and over the coming weeks, have a look at the pictures…it is truly a great and touching event. 

The Para Club is back open this weekend and it would be great to see many of you down there, this weekend we should have the weather to jump:
